🌈 It All Started with Viggo
Viggo is my beautiful, curious, and sensitive boy. Like many children on the autism spectrum, he experiences the world in a unique and vibrant way. I’ve spent countless hours searching for toys and tools that truly support his sensory needs—things that help him feel calm, focused, and joyful.
But I often found myself asking:
“Why is it so hard to find products that actually work for our kids?”
That question planted the seed for Calming Viggo.
From Nurse to Nurturer of Calm
As a registered nurse working full-time in aged care, I’ve seen firsthand how sensory tools and calming activities can transform someone’s day—whether they’re 8 or 80. Many of the items used in our facility for residents’ activities are surprisingly similar to what helps Viggo thrive.
This gave me confidence. I realized I already knew what works. I just needed to bring it together in one place.
Why Dropshipping?
